Proudly manufactured in the United States, this 2 piece set features 8.1 inch long planes with a 5.6 or 3.75 inch wingspan, at a scale of approximately 1:75th. These fighter jets are made from slightly stiff light gray color HDPE plastic with a medium level of detail and a little flashing. Modeled after the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter and Grumman F11F/F-11 Tiger fighter jet, these airplanes were first produced by PROCESSED PLASTIC (Tim Mee's parent company) in the early 1960's. Typically, they were boxed or bagged with Airmen figures and marketed as U.S. Air Force sets up until the 1990s. These are authentic American Made toys designed to be played with for years to come - set them up, knock them over, and pick them up again. Recommended for ages 5 and up, the TimMee Cold War Fighter Jets are a must-have for any young military enthusiast.
